The city of Philadelphia will have at least one representative in the 2012 NCAA Tournament, but if the selection Sunday gods show favor, it could be two.

The city of Philadelphia will have at least one representative in the 2012 NCAA Tournament, but if the selection Sunday gods show favor, it could be two. The Temple Owls are in, but Bruiser Flint's Drexel Dragons will be sweating it out on the bubble after they lost the CAA tournament and its automatic bid. They'll be hoping that the 19 straight games they won at the end of the year will be enough to punch their ticket to the big dance.

Our own bracketology expert Chris Dobbertean thinks that Drexel is in and will be a part of the play in games as a 13 seed. However, a look at ESPN's Joe Lunardi's predictions may spell trouble for Dragon's fans. As of last night, he had Drexel as the last team in, but he had a single caveat.

The Drexel Dragons are back in the bracket as my last team in. At this point I believe the only development that would knock them out is if the St. Bonaventure Bonnies steal a bid by winning the A-10 title Sunday.

And guess what? The Bonnies just won the A-10 Tournament. So they're in and could very likely push Drexel out. If they miss out the big dance, Drexel will get an invite to the NIT.

Temple, in the meantime is coming off a disappointing Atlantic 10 tourney, but will be in the NCAAs nonetheless. They're just waiting to find out their seed now, which according to Dobbertean could be as high as 5.

Lehigh, who surprisingly won the Patriot League and secured an automatic bid to the tourney is projected as a #15 seed.

We will find out today at 6pm when the brackets are released. For more on Temple, Drexel & Lehigh stay tuned to our Selection Sunday stream.
