Temple Football Schedule 2012: Big East Conference Releases Schedule

The Big East released its conference schedule on Tuesday, and the Temple Owls will begin their second stint in the conference on Oct. 6 against South Florida.

The Big East Conference released its football schedule on Tuesday, completing the 2012 Temple Owls football schedule.

The Owls will begin their second stint in the Big East Conference on Friday, Oct. 6 against the South Florida Bulls, a little more than a month after they begin their non-conference schedule on Friday, Aug. 31 against the Villanova Wildcats.

Temple is joining the Big East for football beginning in the fall of 2012, and will join for all other sports the following academic year.

The entire 2012 Temple Owls football schedule follows:

Fri., Aug. 31: Villanova

Sat., Sept. 8: Maryland

Sat., Sept. 22: at Penn State

Sat., Oct. 6: USF

Sat., Oct. 13: at CONNECTICUT

Sat., Oct. 20: RUTGERS

Sat., Oct. 27: at PITTSBURGH

Sat., Nov. 3: at LOUISVILLE

Sat., Nov. 10: CINCINNATI

Sat., Nov. 17: at Army (CBS SN)

Fri., Nov. 23: SYRACUSE (ABC/ESPN/ESPN2)
