NCAA Basketball Rankings: Temple, Villanova Receive Votes in AP Poll

Stay connected for news and updates

Temple and Villanova are still on the outside looking in when it comes to college basketball's Top 25 polls, but both squads received votes in this week's AP Poll. They also received votes in the latest Coaches Poll.

The AP is not as high on either team as the Coaches are. The Wildcats garnered 48 votes in the Coaches Poll but only 18 in the AP Poll. The Owls had 20 Coaches votes but just 14 in the latest AP Poll.

Villanova is 3-0 on the young season while Temple is 3-1. The Owls' first loss of the season was against Purdue in the Puerto Rico Tip-off tournament. Temple won the third-place game of the tournament against Wichita State on Nov. 20. Villanova's next game is on Nov. 24 against UC Riverside from the Big West conference. Temple's next game is against Bowling Green on Nov. 27.
