Villanova has to deal with a pair of talented Temple players Wednesday.
The Villanova Wildcats will have a big test Wednesday night when they host the undefeated Temple Owls at 9 p.m. ET.
The Wildcats are 4-3 this season. They snapped a three-game losing streak with a 62-52 win over Vanderbilt on Saturday. The Owls have been hot to start the season, winning their first five games. Temple is coming off a 70-62 win over Wagner on Saturday.
Villanova's offensive attack so far this season has been balanced, with four players averaging at least 10 points per game. Guard Ryan Arcidiacono comes in as the leading scorer, picking up 12.9 points per game. He also leads the team with 4.4 assists per game.
Forward JayVaughn Pinkston is averaging 12.4 points per game, which is second on the team. Guards James Bell and Darrun Hilliard are scoring 10.7 and 10.3 points per game, respectively.
Temple, meanwhile, has two players carrying the load. Scootie Randall averages a team-high 15.8 points per game, while guard Khalif Wyatt is right behind him with 15.6 points per game. Randall is averaging 7.2 rebounds per game, while Wyatt is picking up 5.0 assists per game.
