Villanova Vs. Cincinnati Halftime Score: Wildcats Trail 40-32

The Villanova Wildcats are looking to end their disappointing season on a high note. They traveled to New Jersey and beat Rutgers on Thursday, and Saturday they play the Cincinnati Bearcats in the final regular season game. The Wildcats trail the Bearcats by eight at halftime.

Cincinnati shot 52 percent from the floor in the first half and grabbed four more rebounds than the Wildcats. Yancy Gates leads the Bearcats in scoring with 10, but they have enjoyed a balanced scoring attack thus far, with five players scoring at least two baskets.

The Wildcats are being carried by their backcourt of Maalik Wayns and Dominic Cheek, who have combined for 20 of the team's 32 points. Mouphtaou Yarou has scored eight of the other 12. JayVaughn Pinkston and Maurice Sutton have two a piece, and Villanova's bench has yet to record a point.

The second half of the game can be seen on ESPN and ESPN3.
