Villanova Vs. Cincinnati Final Score: Wildcats Lose 72-68

The Villanova Wildcats dropped their final regular season game to the Cincinnati Bearcats by a final score of 72 to 68. The loss drops the Wildcats to 12-18 on the season and 5-13 in the Big East, which is good for 14th in the standings – out of 16 teams.

Saturday's loss marks the second consecutive for the Wildcats, who finished their disappointing season by losing eight of their last 10.

Dominic Cheek, Maalik Wayns and Mouphtaou Yarou combined for 52 of 'Nova's 68 points while the rest of the team scored just 16. The bench mustered only two points on six shot attempts, while the Bearcats' bench scored 12 on 12 shots.

Both teams shot 46 percent from the floor, but the Wildcats were awarded two extra shots thanks to two more offensive rebounds than the Wildcats.

Cincinnati finished the season 22-9 and 12-6 in the Big East.
