The Eagles announced today that their former offensive lineman Woody Peoples passed away in Alabama at the age of 67.
↵↵A member of the Eagles 1980 NFC Championship team, Peoples played in 168 career games in the NFL with the Eagles and San Francisco 49ers from 1968-80. Specifically, he played three seasons and in 47 games for Philadelphia from 1978-80. He earned Pro Bowl honors with the 49ers twice (following the 1972 and ’73 seasons) and was also a starting guard for the Eagles in Super Bowl XV.
