MLB Postseason: Phillies To Face Reds In Game One Of NLDS Wednesday Night

By virtue of the Giants' defeat of the Padres today, the Eagles finally know their NLDS opponent: the Cincinnati Reds.

The Phillies, owners of the best record in baseball, have home field advantage in every series they play this postseason. So they open up at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday at 5:07 p.m. Roy Halladay faces Edison Volquez in that one.

The Phils then send Roy Oswalt to the hill against Bronson Arroyo at 6:07 p.m. on Friday night. Cole Hamels will face Johnny Cueto in Cincy on Sunday.

If necessary, game 4 will be played Monday in Cincy and game 5 would be the following Wednesday at Citizens Bank Park. Halladay & Oswalt would be in line to make those starts.
