Week 10 NFL Picks

Since we pick winners over on Bleeding Green Nation, from here on out we’ll only be doing our weekly NFL picks on SB Nation Philly against he spread.

Thursday night Baltimore getting a point on the road in Atlanta. Atlanta’s defense has really struggled over the past few weeks, but their offense has bailed them out. They won’t against the Ravens defense, which is really starting to turn it on. I’d look for the Ravens to win this one outright. Pick: Ravens

Cleveland is a three-point home dog to the Jets. New York was shut out at home two weeks ago and just squeaked by the Lions with an improbable comeback last week on the road. This is the Jets' second straight game on the road against a Cleveland team that is brimming with confidence after beating the Saints and Patriots in consecutive weeks. Pick: Browns

Cincinnati getting 7 at the Colts. I’ve seen this line as high as 8.5 in some places. I’d be all over that. Cincy showed some moxie coming back against the Steelers last week. The Colts probably would have been blown out by the Eagles had Philly not killed themselves so often with penalties. Combine that with the fact that Indy lost yet another major contributor in Austin Collie. That’s a beat up team and it’s hard to see how they would just roll over the Bengals even at home. Pick: Bengals

Kansas City is favored by a point on the road to Denver. The Broncos have lost four straight and haven’t looked great doing it, but they’ve still got a dangerous offense. The Chiefs have not been a great road team this year and they’re just not a team I think deserves to be favored on the road quite yet. Pick: Broncos

The Rams are a six-point dog on the road in San Francisco. While St. Louis hasn’t been a very good road team, they’re a smarter and better coached team than the 49ers. I would have expected this line to be closer to three, so I’d take the Rams to cover here. Pick: Rams
