Philadelphia Eagles At Washington Redskins Injury Report

The Eagles travel to Washington on Monday night for their second meeting of the season with the Redskins. The Eagles come into the game pretty healthy, but will be missing at least one key piece to their defense.

Rookie safety Nate Allen has officially been ruled out with a neck injury. Allen, who the Eagles drafted with one of the picks they got from Washington for Donovan McNabb, has had a standout rookie season. He'll be replaces in the starting lineup by another rookie, Kurt Coleman.

It does seem like Max Jean-Gilles will be ready to play this weekend after leaving last week's game with a concussion. Max is listed as questionable. but was cleared by doctors and says he expects to start at RG.

The Eagles will also be without Ellis Hobbs as he is still working to get back from a hip flexor.

The Redskins will get back Clinton Portis this week, but are likely to be without standout rookie return specialist Brandon Banks.

Although the Redskins were hopeful that Banks, who underwent surgery during the bye week, would recover in time to contribute Monday night against the Eagles at FedEx Field, "he was a little sore today," Coach Mike Shanahan said Saturday after practice at Redskins Park. "You could kind of guess that was gonna happen. ... The good part about it, there's a chance."
