Eagles Vs Cowboys Moved To 4:15pm

Yet another Eagles game has been moved… The start time of the Eagles vs Cowboys game next Sunday has been moved from 1pm to 4:15pm. Obviously, they want Eagles vs Cowboys to be the national game since the last meeting between those two was the second highest rated game of the season.

The move could end up being a bit of a dud for FOX depending on what happens in the Packers vs Bears game at 1pm. Should the Packers win, the Eagles will go all out for the #2 seed. However, if Chicago wins the Eagles will likely have nothing to play for since they’ll be locked into the #3 seed.

This is of course assuming the Eagles can take care of business against the Vikings. If that happens and the Bears lose, it will make for a crazy atmosphere at Lincoln Financial Field. In the span of 3 or 4 hours Eagles fans could potentially see the Giants knocked out of the playoffs, the Eagles secure a first round playoff bye, and a win over the Cowboys. As far as regular season finales go, it can’t get much better than that.

Of course, should the Bears win it’s pretty much assured that Andy Reid will shut it down against Dallas. Especially when you consider the team will playing on just four days rest. The Linc crowd would get treated to the Kevin Kolb/Riley Cooper/Jerome Harrison show.
