College Football Bowl Schedule Roundup

Clear your New Year's day schedule, because college bowl season is here and the bowl schedule is starting to take shape. Here are the confirmed bowls so far.

The Tostitos BCS National Championship Game will pit Oregon against Auburn on January 10th at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

As we previously reported, Penn State will head to Tampa to face Florida in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1. The game will be on ABC at 1pm.

The Insight Bowl features Missouri vs Iowa in Tempe on December 28.

Alabama faces Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando on New Years day.

The Dallas Cowboys stadium will play host to the Cotton Bowl between LSU & Texas A&M on January 7.

Ohio State gets the Sugar Bowl against Arkansas in New Orleans on Jan 4.

The Michigan Wolverines will take on Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl on New Years Day.

Miami and Notre Dame will face in each other in the "these teams used to be awesome bowl"  Hyundai Sun Bowl on Dec. 31st.

 

Northern Illinois will face Fresno State on the blue field in the uDrove Humanitarian Bowl in Boise, Idaho.

Meanwhile Boise State will take on Utah in the MAACO Bowl in Las Vegas on Dec 22.

Georgia Tech draws Air Force in the catchy named AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl on Dec. 2.

South Carolina gets Florida State on New Years Eve in Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta.

The Maryland Terrapins face East Carolina in the Military Bowl on Dec. 29. No military schools in that one?

North Carolina will play Tennessee in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30

Boston College will face Nevada in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco

Baylor stays in Texans to face Illinois in the Texas Bowl

Texas Tech will face Northwestern in the TicketCity Bowl at the Cotton Bowl in Texans on New Years Day.

Louisville gets Southern Miss at the possibly worst named bowl game of the year, the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl in St. Petersburg, Fla.
