NHL Schedule: Flyers Vs Sharks On Versus Tonight

The Flyers take their act to national TV tonight as they face the San Jose Sharks in a matchup of two of the four semifinalists from last year's Stanley Cup playoffs.

San Jose comes into this game struggling, just 4-4-2 in their last 10 the Sharks currently sit at the bottom of the Pacific division. The team hasn't posted two straight victories in almost a month. The Flyers meanwhile sit in second in the Atlantic and despite being somewhat lackluster in their last 10, Philly still has two straight wins and has failed to earn at least a point only once in their last five games.

Amazingly, the Flyers have not beaten the Sharks since December of 2000. That's 10 years! Granted, they haven't played each other much, but that's still a surprising stat. In fact, San Jose hasn't lost in Philadelphia in their last five trips here. Clearly the Flyers will look to turn that around tonight.

The puck drops at 7pm at Wells Fargo Center.
