The Blackhawks equalized early on into the second period, but the Flyers would answer later with a delayed power play goal. The Flyers appeared to score, in fact the light went on and the horn went off… but refs didn’t not whistle and allowed the game to continue. About a minute later, after an icing call the play was review and the goal was allowed.
Shortly before the end of period however, the Hawks would answer once again as Brent Sopel blasted a point shot off a faceoff win to even the score at 2-2.
