Philadelphia Union vs. San Jose Earthquakes

San Jose (5-4-4) started off the season with a 5-2-2 record in its first 9 games but has since failed to win in the last month and a half (0-2-2).  The Earthquakes have mangaged only 4 goals in their last 7 games.

On the other hand, the Union (3-7-2) seem to have turned the corner.  4 points in its last 2 games is coupled with a long home stand, with 11 of its last 17 games being played at home.  Rookie Danny Mwanga, the number one overall pick in the 2010 MLS Superdraft, has found form in his first MLS season.  Entering today's game versus the Earthquakes, Mwanga has scored 5 goals in 8 game appearances/starts.
