In a moment of refreshing honesty from a Philadelphia sports manager, Peter Nowak admitted that the Union need to improve – and will be doing something about it. With the opening of the transfer window fast approaching, Nowak stated the following:
↵We’re going to bring in a couple of guys and see if they can help us.↵
It seems as if Nowak is not happy with his defensive options, as in recent games it has been his last third letting down the team. It should be said that the Union most likely will not bring in any “big name” European player, as Nowak has in the past stated he will place chemistry and results over such an acquisition.
