The Pirates don't win too many games. In fact they have the second least amount of wins in the major leagues ... So obviously they don't win too many games by virtue of a walkoff home run, which is why we may have to forgive this latest homer alert. The Pirates announcers' Greg Brown & Steve Blass(especially) lose their minds as the Pirates' Pedro Alvarez hits a walkoff home run. To be fair, PBP man Brown gave the call a pretty fair amount of home team enthusiasm, but Blass has an absolute homergasm.
