Derek Bodner of LibertyBallers.com writes that a Delco Times writer is reporting that new Philadelphia 76ers President Rod Thorn and General Manager Ed Stefanski will split basketball operations decisions.
According to Dennis Deitch of the Delco Times, Thorn will be in charge of personnel moves, with the draft and scouting under Stefanski’s jurisdiction.
That’s not an unusual set-up but it does clearly represent a divide where many NBA teams prefer to have integrated professional and college scouting efforts.
