The All American is going to Italy. Former Villanova star Scottie Reynolds has signed a contract to play with Prima Verdi of the Italian League Second Division.
As Nova Blog pointed out, Reynolds had played very well on the Phoenix Suns’ Summer League team and had earned an invite to camp. Presumably though, the Italian team offered Scottie a decent amount of guaranteed money.
Reynolds says he’s excited about the move… but to go from the Final Four, to a First Team All American, to undrafted, to the Italian second division can’t be the career path Scottie envisioned. Still, I’m sure we all wish him the best.
Well, maybe not Temple grads.
