A Mets fan is suing the team for pain and suffering… although not for the mental kind that the team has inflicted on it’s fans over the years.
↵About three years ago, Mets fan James Falzon was hit in the face by a broken bat. The guy suffered “multiple facial fractures, a broken nose, busted teeth and a smashed jaw,” Ouch…
↵And now, he’s suing everyone from the team to the company who made the bat. Also named in the lawsuit are Luis Castillo, who was at bat when it shattered, and Ramon Castro who had lent him the bat.
↵While you have to feel some sympathy for the guy who suffered some nasty injuries, who can you say is liable for it? Certainly not the players right?
