There’s a general sense among Eagles fans that we simply don’t know what we have in this team. It seems to that people in general like the direction of the team, but aren’t sure whether they’ll end up as a true contender. It seems like Eagles players have a similar feeling. Asante Samuel was asked whether he thought the team had proven anything yet.

That sums it up pretty well right? We know there’s talent on this team, but when you see familiar faces like Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, & Sheldon Brown all shipped off in the same offseason it gets tougher to predict what might happen. We were used to seeing the team with those guys makes the playoffs almost every year.
