Philadelphia Phillies Open 2011 Schedule At Home Against Houston

The Phillies have released their 2011 schedule and will start out the season with six straight games at Citizen's Bank Park. They open with three games against the Astros, then follow up with a three game set against the Mets.

The Phils will get to know their NL East rivals early as 27 of the first 40 games of the season are against division opponents.

Interleauge play this year will feature the Oakland A's returning to the city they once called home for a three game set in June followed by a visit from the Boston Red Sox. The Phillies then begin July with a trip to Roy Halladay's old home in Toronto. How cool would it be if Halladay faced former Phils top prospect Kyle Drabek in that series? No Yankees next season...

August starts off with a 10 day west coast trip. The Phils will then come home and play 12 of their next 15 at home, with a just a quick trip to DC in the middle.

The Phils will wrap up 2011 on the road in September with back to back series in New York & Atlanta.
