Phillies fans won’t get the chance to get in the head of Nationals OF Nyjer Morgan again… The hot headed young outfielder will begin serving an eight game suspension tonight.
You may remember that Morgan was originally suspended for throwing a ball at a Phillies fan who was heckling him at a game in Washington. While appealing that suspension, he started a bench clearing brawl against the Marlins. Best part of that was he got totally beat down, but celebrated afterward like he’d won.
Obviously he’s a clown and frankly I think it’s too bad he won’t have to face the Citizens Bank Park crowd… He will be there for batting practice though….
