College Basketball Rankings: Ohio State Unseats Duke At #1

By virtue of losing their first ACC road game against Florida State, the Due Blue Devils have been dropped from the #1 spot in the AP top 25 poll. They had held the top spot since the preseason. Duke actually dropped to #4 with Ohio State taking the top spot and Kansas and Syracuse at #2 and #3 respectively.

As for the locals, Villanova continued to hold steady at #7. Just behind them at #8 is UConn, who the Wildcats face in a major matchup in Connecticut today.

Temple fell out of the top 25 after their loss to Duquesne. However, they got more top 25 votes than any team not in the top 25, so they’re basically at #26.
