The Penn State University football program, which earned a solid 20-14 victory over Ohio State University Saturday in a Big 10 contest in Columbus, OH, was rewarded Sunday with a jump in the AP Poll standings. The Nittany Lions (9-2, 6-1), which were ranked No. 21 in last week's polls, moved up a spot to No. 20.
PSU, which will try and win the league's Leaders Division title next Saturday at the University of Wisconsin (No. 15 in the AP poll, are the fourth-highest ranked Big 10 school. Michigan State University is ranked No. 11, while the University of Michigan is No. 17. The University of Nebraska, which sits at No. 22, is the fifth ranked Big 10 school.
