College Football Rankings, Week 14: Penn State Nittany Lions No. 19 In USA Today/Coaches Poll

The Penn State football program lost its third game of the 2011-12 season Saturday, 45-7, at the University of Wisconsin, and the result led to a drop in the latest college football rankings, released Sunday afternoon.

After being ranked No. 19 in the USA Today/Coaches Poll last week, the Nittany Lions (9-3) fell to No. 22 this week. Penn State is the lowest of the five ranked Big Ten schools, as Michigan State (No. 9), Wisconsin (No. 12), Michigan (No. 16) and Nebraska (No. 19) are all ranked ahead of PSU. The Spartans and Badgers will meet each other in the inaugural Big Ten Conference Championship (8:17 p.m. on FOX), Saturday, Dec. 3.
