The Temple Owls are playing host to the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks tonight at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, live on ESPN.
Temple leads Miami 17-7 at halftime.
Ohio fumbled the ball in their opening drive, recovered by defensive back Kevin Kroboth. Temple was able to drive for 45 yards but had to settle for a field goal.
The Redhawks charged back on their next drive, going 90 yards across 12 plays that ended in six when Zac Dysert found Nick Harwell for the touchdown.
Mason Krysinski made it seven.
The Owls regained the lead to open the second quarter when Chris Coyer dropped one in for Deon Miller and went up 17-7 when Adrian Robinson intercepted a pass from Dysert to set up Chris Coyer’s nine yard rush into the end zone.
The score could very easily be 20-7 but Brandon McManus missed a 38 yard field goal earlier in the quarter.
