Tuesday night's NCAA basketball game between the Boston University Terriers and Villanova Wildcats, emanating from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has come to a close.
Despite trailing by three points at the half, the Wildcats roared back in the second stanza, outscoring the Terriers 45-17 en route to winning by a final score of 68-43.
Junior forward Mouphtaou Yarou was tops for the Wildcats, scoring nine points with six rebounds and one assist. Freshman point guard Darryl Partin led the Terriers in a losing effort with seven points, two assists and one steal.
Boston U., who moves on to face the Bucknell Bison on Thursday night, lose their third straight and fall to 4-7 (0-0 Am. East). Villanova, who will take on the St. Joseph's Hawks on Saturday night, improves to 6-4 (0-0 Big East) with the win.
