76ers Vs. Wizards: Philadelphia Hosts Preseason Finale Tuesday Night

The Philadelphia 76ers play their preseason finale Tuesday night, as the Washington Wizards visit the Wells Fargo Center. The 76ers will begin its 2011-12 regular-season on Monday, Dec. 26, at the Portland Trailblazers.

The Philadelphia 76ers will host their first preseason and final game Tuesday night, as the Washington Wizards visit the Wells Fargo Center (7 p.m. on COMCAST). This will be the second preseason game for the 76ers who defeated the Wizards, 103-78, Friday night at the Verizon Center and will begin their regular season at the Portland Trailblazers, Monday, Dec. 26 (10 p.m. on COMCAST). Philadelphia will start its 2011-12 season with five straight road games.

On Saturday, guard Lou Williams scored a game-high 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting for the 76ers, which led by as much as 40 points. Last season's second-overall draft pick, forward Evan Turner, netted 16 points, while this year's first-round draft pick Nikola Vucevic netted five assists and in 22:49 minutes played.

The 66-game NBA regular season tipsoff Sunday, Christmas Day, with five marque match ups.
