The St. Joe's Hawks will test a five-game win streak on Saturday afternoon in Cambridge, MA, during a New Year's Eve showdown with the No. 24 Harvard Crimson.

The St. Joe's Hawks will test a five-game win streak on Saturday afternoon in Cambridge, MA, during a New Year's Eve showdown with the Crimson.

All of St. Joe's five consecutive wins have come at home and none have been against a club the caliber of Harvard. In their last time out, the Hawks blitzed Morgan State 81-50, giving Martelli his 310th win, breaking the previous record of 309 held by Bill Ferguson.

Martelli's record-breaking win was aided by Carl Jones, whose 16 points led four Hawks in double figures. Halil Kanacevic added a unique line of 12 assists, seven blocks, eight rebounds and zero points.

Harvard has won three straight, all by double figures, since suffering its lone loss of the season against Connecticut on Dec. 8.
