NCAA Basketball Rankings: Nova Drops Six Spots; Temple Up One

After back-to-back losses this week to Rutgers and Pitt the AP pollsters dropped Villanova six spots to No. 15 in the latest top 25. They should be able to rebound this week as they have road dates with Seton Hall and DePaul.

The Owls moved up a spot to No. 23 after posting victories over Fordham and Dayton. Temple will have a major opportunity to impress voters on Thursday night when it welcomes the Richmond Spiders to the Liacouras center in a game that will go a long way in determining seeding in Atlantic City. Conference rival Xavier was also voted into the top 25, debuting at No. 24.
