Jamie Moyer Joins ESPN's Baseball Tonight

ESPN's nightly baseball show will now include another ex-Phillie. John Kruk is already on the show and the network announced today that Jamie Moyer will be joining him as a guest analyst. Moyer will make his debut tomorrow night on the show's opening day special.

So if he's going to be doing TV now does that mean Moyer has finally decided he's done playing? Nope...

"I’m excited about the opportunity to work at ESPN. It’s a new challenge and I look forward to this forum as a chance to elaborate on the art of pitching as I rehab from injury this season.  I hope to get back on the diamond in the future."

David Murphy of the Daily News says Moyer is a natural fit for the show because he loves to talk... but that ESPN might have to lengthen the show to allow of Moyer's famous long winded diatribes on pitching.

Only problem: once you get him talking about pitching, you find yourself in desperate need of Dave Chappelle's Wrap-it-Up Box.
