Tigers Woods came into Sunday at the Masters seven shots off the lead, but after eight holes he knows finds himself just a shot back playing some of the best golf we’ve ever seen him play at Augusta. Tiger has four birdies and an eagle on eight in his first eight holes to put him at 10-under on the day, just one back of Rory McIlroy, who sits at -11.
McIlroy seems to have settled down after bogeying the first hole. He’s made par on his next three holes and remains +1 on the day. The 21 year old will likely have to do better than just par today with the way guys like Tiger Woods and Charl Schwartzel are playing. Schwartzel actually grabbed a share of the lead after his eagle on three, but bogeyed four to fall back to 10-under on the day. He still sits one shot off the lead.
