Union Hope To Avoid Rapture By Fire

The Philadelphia Union welcome the Chicago Fire to PPL Park in Chester, PA tonight at 8 pm.

After drawing the Los Angeles Galaxy two Wednesdays ago, the Union flopped in Texas and lost 2-0 to FC Dallas. A disappointing display by the Union did not directly affect their positioning in the Eastern Conference standings, as the Union are only a single point behind current leaders the New York Red Bulls. Faryd Mondragon, Gabe Farfan and Danny Mwanga are all probable for today's game, while Juan Diego Gonzalez is quiestionable, Stefani Miglioranzi is doubtful and Thorne Holder and Zach Pfeffer are officially out.

The Fire are coming to Philly after four straight draws in MLS league play. After going up 2-0 on Toronto FC last week, the Fire gave up two goals, both from beyond their 18.
