It’s currently pouring rain in Philadelphia and with no end in sight, the Phillies have decided to postpone the finale of their series with the Washington Nationals. The game will be made up on September 20th as part of a day/night doubleheader. The Phils now get two days off and resume on Tuesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. It’s bad news for the D-Backs who now get Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee to start the series.
The planned Harry Kalas statue unveiling has also been moved to Tuesday. Vance Worley is sad.
Thought it was always sunny in Philadelphia? Rained out. Just gonna relax and watch some TV today.
