The Eagles have made some slight changes to their offensive line in recent days. While the team hasn’t made any significant moves as of late, Philadelphia has added some competition in the trenches as the club’s second preseason game approaches. Offensive tackle Joe Toledo, who was signed over the weekend, has since been released. He was replaced with undrafted Nevada product Jose Acuna, who was claimed off waivers from the Cowboys, but Acuna has also departed, landing on the Reserve/Left Squad list.
Defensive tackle Charles Noonan has also been re-signed. The local Rutgers product played in the Eagles’ first preseason game and rejoins the team as competition at the DT spot.
