La Salle Visits Penn In Big 5 Matchup At The Palestra

The La Salle Explorers and Penn Quakers play in a Philadelphia Big 5 contest at The Palestra (7 p.m.).

The La Salle Explorers men's basketball program will play their non-conference finale Tuesday night, as they visit the Penn Quakers in a Big 5 contest (7 p.m. ET) at The Palestra in Philadelphia, PA. The Explorers (12-4, 0-1 Atlantic 10 Conference) have won six of their last eight games at The Palestra, while Penn is looking to snap a four-game losing streak against La Salle.

On Sunday, the Explorers defeated the UMass Minutemen, 82-75. The victory extended La Salle's current winning streak to five consecutive and helped the Explorers earn their 10th win in 11 tries.

Currently, junior guard Ramon Galloway paces La Salle in scoring with 15.5 points per game, and is tops in the conference in 3-point shooting (2.8 per game) and 19th nationally in 3-point percentage (46.8-perecent).

Meanwhile, the Quakers (7-8) are led by Bob Cousey Award finalist Zack Rosen, who's averaging 19.4 ppg and 6.1 assists per game. Tyler Bernardini adds 15.4 ppg for Penn, which is also playing their final non-conference game before heading into Ivy League play
