Despite getting a collegiate-best performance Wednesday from guard Tim Frazier, who netted 30 points, the Penn St. Nittany Lions men's basketball program fell at the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 70-58, in a Big Ten Conference game at Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, NE.
Senior guard Boe Spencer netted a team-best 19 points to help the Cornhuskers (9-7, 1-4 Big Ten) earn their first conference victory. Toney McCray added 13 points and Caleb Walker and Dylan Talley scored 12 apiece for Nebraska, which avoid its second straight 0-5 start int he Big Ten.
As for Frazier, he netted his league-leading eighth 20-poiint game, but it wasn't enough for the Nittany Lions, allowed runs of 10-0 and 8-0 in the first half and trailed 34-22 at halftime.
