The Hawks continue Atlantic 10 conference play on Saturday afternoon, when they visit Amherst to meet Massachusetts at 4 p.m.

St. Joe's (12-5) defeated Fordham 80-62 on Monday to move to 2-1 in the Atlantic 10 conference, a half-game behind leaders La Salle and Dayton. The Hawks were led against Fordham by sophomore Langston Galloway, whose 30 points (including 7-9 three-point shooting) tied a career high.

UMass (13-4) has won its first nine games at the Mullins Center and is looking for its best home start since 1992-93, when the Minutemen began with 11 straight home victories and ultimately earned an NCAA tournament berth. Like St. Joe's, the Minutemen are 2-1 in Atlantic 10 play and looking to remain near the top of the conference standings.
