The Temple Owls visit the Richmond Spiders Saturday at 7 p.m. in an Atlantic 10 matchup, as both teams look to inch closer to the top of the conference standings.
Temple (11-4) beat Saint Louis on the road on Wednesday, 72-67, to move to 1-1 in the conference. Khalif Wyatt, who has been surging recently for Fran Dunphy's squad, led Temple with 22 points as the Owls handed Saint Louis a rare home loss. It was the Billikens' first loss in 10 home games this year and just their 14th loss at Chaifetz Arena since the building opened four years ago.
Richmond (10-7) began its A-10 slate by splitting road outings against Charlotte and Rhode Island. The Spiders beat Rhode Island last Saturday, 70-53, behind Darien Brothers' game-high 19 points. Brothers leads the team with 14.6 points per game. The junior is shooting 48.9 percent from beyond the three-point arc.
