College Basketball Schedule, TV Times And More: Temple Vs. Maryland, Penn Vs. St. Joe's Double-Header At The Palestra

The weekend's college basketball schedule, complete with channels and times, customized for the Philly sports fan. All times ET.

All Philly area college basketball teams will be in action this weekend, including a double-header at The Palestra on Saturday.

The action kicks off on Saturday at 11 a.m. when the Temple Owls (12-5) host the Maryland Terrapins (12-5) at The Palestra. The game will be televised on ESPNU. The Owls enter the game having won six of their last eight games. Maryland has won 10 of their last 12. Temple leads the series 5-4.

The Villanova Wildcats (9-10) travel to play the St. John's Red Storm (8-10) at Madison Square Garden on Saturday at 1 p.m. Both teams will be looking for their third Big East win of the season. St. John's holds a 60-44 lead in the series and is 28-13 as the home team.

The Penn Quakers (9-9) host the St. Joseph's Hawks (12-7) in a Big 5 game at 7 p.m. on Saturday at The Palestra. Penn is 0-3 in Big 5 play this season while St. Joe's is 1-0. The Hawks lead the series 46-33. Penn is in first place in the Ivy League while St. Joe's is third to last in the A-10.

The Penn St. Nittany Lions (10-10) travel to Bloomington to take on the No. 13 Indiana Hoosiers (15-4) at 12 p.m. on Sunday. Penn State fell, 88-82, in the first meeting this season on Jan. 8. Both teams are under .500 in Big Ten play this season.
