Drexel Vs Northeastern: Red Hot Dragons Look For 6th Straight Win

Drexel looks to maintain its win streak against Northeastern on Saturday afternoon.

The red hot Drexel Dragons look for the sixth straight win when they host the streaking Northeastern Huskies on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.

Drexel has won five straight, including a 56-50 decision Wednesday at Hofstra. Chris Fouch led the Dragons with 13 points Wednesday, Frantz Massenat added the first double-double of his career with 10 points and 10 rebounds, Daryl McCoy snatched 11 rebounds and Drexel hit three free throws in the final minute before Damion Lee capped the 56-50 victory with an emphatic dunk.

Northeastern has won four consecutive games, the most recent being a home win against Georgia State on Wednesday. The Terriers are led by Jonathan Lee, who averages 14.8 points, and Joel Smith, pitching in 12.5 points per game. Quincy Ford leads the team with 5.4 rebounds per game and also contributes 10.1 points.
