Despite junior guard Tim Frazier netting a game-best 21 points, the Penn St. Nittany Lions fell at the No. 11-ranked Indiana Hoosiers, 73-54, in a Big Ten Conference game at Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers (16-4, 4-4 Big Ten) snapped a three-game losing streak, while the Nittany Lions (10-11, 2-6) have lost four of their last five games.
Freshman forward Cody Zeller tallied a team-best 18 points and junior guard Jordan Hulls added 14 for the Hoosiers, who went 7-for-16 from behind the 3-point line and shot 53.3-percent from the field.
Junior guard Nick Colella scored 11 points for Penn State, which led 29-27 at halftime. However, a 8-0 run early in the second half helped the Hoosiers take a 45-35 lead with 13:10 to go. The gap proved to be too much for the Nittany Lions to overcome.
