Andy Musser, Former Phillies Broadcaster, Dies At 74

Long time Philadelphia broadcaster Andy Musser passed away Sunday at the age of 74. Musser called Phillies games for 26 years and was with the organization until 2001. As the Inquirer pointed out, he broadcasted games for every Philly sports team except for the Flyers.

His resume includes calling some of the great events in American sports.

A Syracuse graduate and Army veteran, he broadcast two World Series, two Super Bowls, two Masters Toumaments, and numerous football and basketball games on national networks.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church Foundation.
