Penn State Vs Ohio State: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Nittany Lions will look to pull of a huge upset in Ohio tonight against Jared Sullinger and the Buckeyes.

The Penn State Nittany Lions are ready to go on the road against the Ohio State Buckeyes, Wednesday night at the Value City Arena.

It's a tough time for Penn State. Forgetting the struggles on the court, the team is dealing with the loss of Joe Paterno, whose funeral will be held today. Maybe being on the road and getting away from all the hoopla will be a positive for this group.

In their last game, the Nittany Lions (10-11, 2-6) played well for a half before getting blown out in the second half against Indiana. The road doesn't get any easier, as #3 Ohio State (17-3, 5-2) is looking to continue its ascent to number one.

The Buckeyes feature Jared Sullinger who's almost averaging a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds per contest. Senior guard William Buford is the dominant back court terror for opponents. He's been playing a great all-around game, averaging 15 points, four and a half rebounds and three assists per game. Ohio State is coming off of a 79-45 whitewashing of Nebraska last Saturday.

Penn State needs to contain Sullinger and Buford if it has any hope. As usual, the Nittany Lions need Tim Frazier to play a great game. He's leading the team in both points and rebounds with 18 and five per game respectively.

The game can be seen on the Big Ten Network with a 6:30 p.m. ET schedule tip-off.
