La Salle looks to keep pace Wednesday night when the Explorers host George Washington at 7 p.m. at Gola Arena. The Explorers carry a 12-game home winning streak into the meeting and have won all 10 games at Gola Arena this season.
La Salle beat Rhode Island on Saturday, 80-66, to end a two-game skid. Sophomore Tyreek Duren scored 21 points, senior Earl Pettis added 19, freshman Jerrell Wright contributed 17 points and eight rebounds, and the Explorers used a strong second half to break a halftime tie and run away from Rhode Island.
George Washington has won its last two outings, but the Colonials are winless in their last four trips on the road.
