Looking for their eighth straight win, the Drexel Dragons seek to avenge their last loss when they host the Georgia State Panthers Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in a Colonial Athletic Association bout.
Drexel has won seven straight since falling to Georgia State 58-44 on Jan. 2. The Dragons defeated William & Mary 64-48 on Monday behind Dartaye Ruffin's career-high 18 points, five rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Damion Lee added 17 points on three of four from long distance.
Georgia State defeated James Madison on Monday to snap a two-game losing skid. The Panthers were led by James Fields, who set career highs with 21 points and eight rebounds. Josh Micheaux also established a career high with 11 rebounds, adding 15 points for the double-double. Georgia State started CAA conference play 5-1, but have dropped two out of three.
