The Drexel Dragons won again on Wednesday night. They beat the Georgia State Panthers by a final score of 68-46 in a Colonial Athletic Association matchup. The win was the eighth consecutive victory for the Dragons, who still trail George Mason in the conference.
Junior guard Chris Fouch led the way for the Dragons with 15 points. He hit three out of ten three-point attempts. Frantz Massenat scored 13 points and added three rebounds, six assists, three steals and one blocked shot. The team's leading rebounder, Samme Givens, led the way again on Wednesday with 10 rebounds. The Dragons' leading scorer, Damion Lee, was held to just five points, after averaging more than 12 for the season.
Drexel is now 16-5 for the season, and they own an 8-2 record in conference play. On Saturday, they look for their ninth win in a row with a home game against the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens.
