La Salle Vs Duquesne: Explorers Look For 3rd Straight Win

The La Salle Explorers look for their third straight win on Saturday night at 7 p.m. when they visit the Duquesne Dukes.

The La Salle Explorers look for their third straight win on Saturday night at 7 p.m. when they visit the Duquesne Dukes.

La Salle bounced back from consecutive losses to Dayton and Temple with home wins against Rhode Island and George Washington in the past week. The Explorers ran past George Washington 78-63 on Wednesday behind Ramon Galloway's career-high 28 points, 21 of which came in the first half, to remain unbeaten at home this season. The win boosted La Salle into a five-way share for first place in the Atlantic 10 Conference standings at 4-2 in league play.

Duquesne dropped its last outing against St. Louis, 68-41, to fall to 3-3 in the Atlantic 10. The Dukes, who are led by Sean Johnson's 15.5 points per game and B.J. Monteiro's 14.9 points per game, are 8-2 at home but just 2-5 on the road.
