Phillies vs. Nationals lineups: Jimmy Rollins, Ryan Howard out for Monday's series opener

The Phillies look to play the role of spoiler in their final series of the season. The Nationals clinch the NL East with a win this week.

The Philadelphia Phillies have been eliminated from playoff contention, but they have a chance to play spoiler against the Washington Nationals this week in Washington. The Nats need just one win or a Braves loss in order to clinch the National League East.

If the Phillies are able to sweep Washington, and Atlanta sweeps the Pirates, the two clubs would tie for the division crown and play a one-game playoff on Thursday. This isn't a likely scenario, but one Philadelphia could make happen with a solid final series of the season.
